According to legend, these witches’ cats once ate so much butter that they vomited it up on their way home. Thus the yellow bile that cats sometimes cough up is called “witch’s butter.”

I know right. It seems like it should be the most obvious thing…. to do…

WANT. I mean, I know these aren’t actually harvested from tears, but now that the idea is in my mind it’s never going to go away. I only cry tears of frustration though…once a year, usually. But collecting enough tears for a small vial of salt can be my life’s work!

I know what I will be doing with my tears now. No but seriously the idea of it I’ve never even thought of before and it’s actually a really interesting idea.

The site doesn’t make me think that they’re really made from human tears lol. Js.

Yeah, like I mentioned, they’re not actually made from real tears. They’re sea salts from Halen Môn. However, there is a small amount of salt in tears, so, in theory I suppose it’s possible.

Now this is a real, true story, and I saw the ole lady ‘long when I was a little girl. She wuz a old, old lady and she had ta take ma’phine. She’d have weak spells, and if she didn’t get her ma’phine, she’d get down and couldn’t walk and she might die.

So she wuz goin’ a little trail through to a neighbor’s house and there wuz two mean boys come along and took her ma’phine away from her. Then they taken her money, what she had in her pocket. Then they whipped her and told her if she ‘uz a witch, now to do some a her work.

She broke a little bush and place it down in the road and says, “By the time that bush wilts, you’ll be wilted just like it.”

And so the bush kin’ly begin to wilt in a few minutes. The leaves turned over. And so they just wilted down right in front of her. They couldn’t get up and she just ha-haed, and laughed, and went in their pockets and got her money and her ma’phine, picked up her stick and walked on th’ little trail ta th’ house and told th’ folks about it.
